Binomo, explained by people who read the fine print

Binomo is an online trading platform where you predict whether a price will be higher or lower after a fixed time. This guide covers what it costs, how the demo works, how money moves in and out, and why most beginners lose.

Trading involves a high risk of losing money. Only use money you can afford to lose. 18+.

We have used Binomo on and off for several years, mostly to test how it behaves for small accounts from India and Latin America. This page is the short version of what we learned. If you want detail, every section links to a longer guide.

What Binomo is (and what it is not)

Binomo is a trading platform for fixed time trades. You pick an asset, such as EUR/USD or gold, choose an amount and an expiry time, and decide whether the price will finish higher or lower. If you are right, you get your stake back plus a fixed percentage. If you are wrong, the stake is lost. There is no partial result.

That makes it closer to a fixed-odds bet on price direction than to buying a stock. You never own the asset. You cannot hold the position for weeks and wait for it to recover. This is the single most important thing to understand before you deposit anything.

Binomo was founded in 2014. The operating company is Dolphin Corp, registered in Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Since 2018 the company has been a Category A member of the Financial Commission, an independent body that handles complaints between traders and its member brokers.

The numbers that matter

Here is what the platform asks of a new trader, in plain figures:

  • Minimum deposit: $10, or about the same in rupees, pesos or soles.
  • Minimum trade: $1. You can keep stakes tiny while you learn.
  • Demo balance: 10,000 in virtual funds. When it runs low you can top it up for free.
  • Payout: up to 90% on a winning trade. The real number moves with the asset, the hour and your account status. On a quiet asset late at night it can sit well below 80%.
  • Expiry times: from one minute upward.

The headline figure is the payout, and it is also the most misunderstood. A 90% payout does not mean you keep 90% of anything. It means a $10 winning trade returns $19. A losing trade returns zero.

One $10 trade with an 85% payout

Two outcomes, and they are not symmetrical.

If you are right
+$8.50
You get back $18.50: your $10 stake plus $8.50.
If you are wrong
−$10.00
The whole stake is gone. Nothing comes back.
Illustration only. Payout percentages change by asset, time of day and account status.

The maths most reviews leave out

Because a loss costs 100% of the stake and a win pays less than 100%, you need to be right more than half the time just to stay level. At an 85% payout the break-even point is about 54%. At 80% it is closer to 56%.

That sounds like a small edge. In practice it is hard to hold over hundreds of short trades, which is why most new accounts shrink. We are not saying this to scare you off. We are saying it because nobody who sells you on “easy income” will.

How often you need to be right just to break even

Because a loss costs the full stake and a win pays less than 100%, a coin-flip strategy loses money over time.

Account statuses: Standard, Gold, VIP

Every new account starts on Standard. Larger deposits move you up to Gold and then VIP. The exact thresholds are set per region and currency, and the platform shows them inside your profile. What changes as you move up:

StatusPayoutWithdrawal timeExtras
StandardBase rateUp to 3 business daysFull asset list for the region, tournaments
GoldA few points higherUp to 24 hoursMore assets, bigger deposit bonuses
VIPHighest availableUp to 4 hoursPersonal manager, priority support

Our honest view: do not deposit more just to reach a status. A slightly higher payout does not fix a losing method.

Getting money in and out

The cashier shows only the methods that work in your country. In India that usually means UPI and local bank options. In Latin America it is often cards, bank transfer and regional wallets. Deposits normally land within minutes.

Withdrawals are where people get stuck. Binomo asks you to verify your identity before the first payout. Do it early, right after registration, and use the same method for withdrawals that you used for deposits. Our deposits and withdrawals guide walks through it step by step.

How to start without wasting money

From sign-up to first withdrawal in five steps

The order matters. Most problems with withdrawals start with skipping step 4.

  1. RegisterEmail or Google account. Takes about a minute.
  2. Practise on demo10,000 virtual funds, refillable. No card needed.
  3. Deposit from $10Pick a local method in the cashier.
  4. Verify your profileUpload ID before you ask for a payout.
  5. WithdrawSame method you used to deposit, where possible.

Spend at least a week on the demo account. Keep a simple log: asset, time, direction, result. If you cannot beat the break-even rate on demo money, real money will not change that. When you are ready, our step-by-step start guide covers registration, verification and the first real trade.

Open Binomo

What we like and what we do not

Good

  • Low entry: $10 to open, $1 per trade.
  • The demo is generous and does not expire.
  • Clean web platform that works on cheap phones and slow connections.
  • Local payment methods in India and much of Latin America.

Not so good

  • No licence from a top-tier regulator.
  • Short expiries encourage fast, emotional trading.
  • Bonuses come with turnover rules that lock your withdrawal until they are met.
  • Not available in the US, the EU and several other markets.

Quick questions

Is Binomo a real broker or a scam?

Binomo is a real company that has run since 2014 and pays out withdrawals to verified clients. It is not licensed by a major regulator such as the FCA or SEC. Its main safeguard is membership in the Financial Commission, an independent dispute body. Whether that is enough for you is a personal call.

Can I use Binomo from the USA?

No. Binomo does not accept residents of the United States. The “.us.org” in our domain is just an address; this site is written for readers in countries where the platform operates.

How much money do I need to start?

You need nothing to try the demo. A real account opens with a $10 deposit, and the smallest trade is $1.
